Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

Archway is committed to protecting the environment in all aspects of our operations and to providing employees with equipment, training, and best practices to achieve a goal of zero incidents and no harm. Nothing is more important to us, than ensuring that all of our employees work in a safe environment.

We have had a continuous coverage with Workers Compensation Board (WCB) since September 2004.
Our safety and environmental program outlines all steps necessary to achieve a goal of zero incidents as follows:

  • Comply with all applicable Health, Safety regulations, including the Workers Compensation Act and the
Occupational Health and Safety Regulation (the “OHS Regulation”)
  • On-going employee education and training.
  • Safety Observation System—In order to eliminate hazards and dangerous conditions we have set up a
system in which employees will be taught to correct their unsafe behavior through positive coaching.
  • Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manuals—a comprehensive system of policies, procedures,
guidelines, and practices for performing work safely.
  • Provide a healthy and safe workplace environment to eliminate or minimize injury and illness.
  • Operate our own facilities in a safe, efficient and environmentally sensitive manner.
